Continuously, since 2007
In the year of 2007 REZ Agency initiated the establishment of municipal development teams in all 16 municipalities of the region of Central Bosnia with goal of independent preparation of projects to apply for funds from EU and other donors. REZ Agency signed the Protocol on Cooperation for the implementation of the project “Capacity building of municipal development teams to absorb development funds” with municipalities in February 2008.
In the framework of the project, REZ Agency has been organising cycles of training for municipal development teams titled “Project Cycle Management applying EU methodology” (PCM).
The PCM seminars include the following topics:
- Project Cycle Management – phases and documents
- Problem and objectives analysis
- Matrix of Logical frame
- EC Application – Preparation of Project proposal
- Budget
- Project implementation
- Monitoring and evaluation
As planned, similar seminars will be organized in the future for stakeholders of economic development from the region (municipalities, ministries, NGOs, various institutions and businessmen) in order to better prepare themselves for the use of IPA funds.
