RESTORATION OF THE PLAY ROOM IN TURBE, TRAVNIK
In November 2008, REZ Agency, in cooperation with the Foundation “Out of Area” applied for the project “Restoration of the play room in Turbe”. The project was approved, and in January 2009 was implemented by graduates of department “Educational work” from “Gilda College” Weert, Netherlands. Works under the project included the following activities: construction of entrance with doors, laminate flooring, carpeting, painting the interior and exterior walls, procurement of shelves, wardrobes, bags and chairs, donating toys, puzzles and sliding boards. Total project value was estimated to 25,000 KM.
PROJEKT “ZEELAND4BOSNIE”- RENOVATION OF THE SCHOOL IN GRADIŠĆE, MUNICIPALITY OF ZENICA
In December of 2008, REZ Agency, in cooperation with the Foundation “Out of Area”, has applied with the project of restoration of the local school in Gradišće. The project was approved and implemented from 4 to 8 April 2009. The project entitled “Zeeland4Bosnie” was implemented by graduates of department “Educational work” from Zeeland College, Netherlands. The following work were performed: flooring in the classrooms, painting interior and exterior walls, painting of the joinery, decorating the walls, donating and assembling the equipment for the playground and donation in the school materials. The value of this project was about 30,000 KM.
PROJECT “ID4BOSNIE” – RESTORATION OF THE SCHOOL IN BIJELO BUĆE-PULAC, MUNICIPALITY OF TRAVNIK
In December of 2008, REZ Agency, in cooperation with the Foundation “Out of Area” applied with the project of restoration of the local school in community of Bijelo Buće-Pulac. The project entitled “ID4Bosnie was approved and implemented from 16 to 21 April 2009. Project involved 43 graduates of department “Educational work” from college of “ID Gouda” from Netherlands. The following work were performed: painting interior and exterior walls, painting of the joinery, decorating walls, donating and assembling the equipment for the playground, donations in school materials and accessories, setup of the frame for activities, donations in toys, floor repairs, renovation of toilets, decorating the school’s main entrance. The school in the local community Bijelo Buće-Pulac is currently attended by 58 pupils, and the total value of the project was 30,000 KM.
RESTORATION OF LOCAL SCHOOL IN VLAHOVIĆI, ZENICA
In cooperation with the Dutch organization “Eindhoven Luhtmaht Actief”, REZ Agency applied to a Dutch donor with the project “Renovation of the regional school in Vlahovići”, in August 2009. This is a continuation of the activities initiated by REZ Agency in 2007 under the slogan “Let’s bring life back to suburban settlements”. The works were performed from 21. to 24. September 2009 and included: painting and decorating works, reconstruction of the wetland, painting of carpentry, replacement of plumbing, installation of new floor coverings. In the regional school “Vlahovići” classes are currently attended by 29 students, and the total value of the project is about 30,000 KM.
RESTORATION OF BRANCH SCHOOL IN KOLIĆI, ZENICA
REZ Agency, in cooperation with the Dutch Organization of Military Veterans “Stichting Veteranen Actief”, implemented a project for the renovation of the branch school “Ćamil Sijarić” in Kolići. This is another in a series of projects of the REZ Agency which strive to provide better schooling conditions for students of regional schools. The works were performed and financed by the organization of military veterans from the Netherlands “Stichting Veteranen Actief” from 21. to 24. September 2009 and they included: painting and decorating the school premises, installing a toilet, replacing worn-out carpentry, installing equipment on the children’s playground, making a new facade. At the branch school “Ćamil Sijarić” in Kolići, 74 students are currently attending classes, and the total value of the project is around 35,000 KM.
RESTORATION OF BRANCH SCHOOL IN GOLEŠ, MUNICIPALITY OF TRAVNIK
In October 2009, REZ Agency, in cooperation with the Dutch organization KMA, rehabilitated the branch school in Goleš, Travnik municipality. The project is a continuation of activities from 2007 under the slogan “Let’s bring life back to suburbs”. The organization KMA from the Netherlands provided financial resources and performed the following works with its volunteers: painting and decorating works, installation of a wet node, painting of carpentry, replacement of plumbing installations, installation of new floor coverings. At the branch school in Goleš, classes are currently attended by 36 students, and the total value of the project is around 20,000 KM.
