Project Description
In the period from 16th to 20th May 2011, The Protestant church volunteers from the Dutch city of Fryslân worked on the restoration of the branch school Bukovci, a department of elementary School Kaćuni in the municipality of Busovača.
The following works were completed:
- Repairs to the roof
- Repairing and painting the interior and exterior joinery
- Painting and painting all the classrooms in the school
- Painting the facade
- Laminate in classrooms
- Repaired the washrooms
- Installation of the complete structure for the basketball
- Set up a mini playground for children
Also, new desks and chairs for classrooms, plasma TV, DVD as well as gifts for pupils were provided. Currently 17 pupils attend the branch school in Bukovci.
