Overall objective

Prepare the document Development Plan of the Municipality of Gornji Vakuf-Uskoplje 2010-2015.

Specific objectives

  1. Choose the methodology that is most suitable for drafting a development strategy document, taking into account the specifics of the municipality and possible ways to implement development strategy.
  2. Align the strategic document with higher level strategic documents (state, federal, cantonal and regional).

Proposed activities

  • Organize workshops for stakeholders from the area of the municipality of Gornji Vakuf-Uskoplje.
  • Make Situation Analysis (Socio-Economic Analysis), using the SWOT tool.
  • Define vision and development directions.
  • Develop an Action Plan for 2011, including a list of project ideas, programs and projects..
  • Prepare a draft document “Development Plan of the Municipality of Gornji Vakuf-Uskoplje 2010-2015”, submit it to the Municipality for further action.

Achieved results

  1. In cooperation with representatives of the municipality, economy and civil society defined are interest groups.
  2. Workshops for stakeholders were held.
  3. A draft of the document “Development Plan of the Municipality of Gornji Vakuf-Uskoplje 2010-2015” was prepared, on the basis of which a public debate was initiated.
  4. Participation in the work of the session of the Municipal Council at which the document was adopted.
  5. Development plan of the municipality of Gornji Vakuf-Uskoplje for the period 2010-2015 made available to the local community for planning development programs and projects.
