Nadzorni odbor REZ Agencije broji pet članova. Funkciju presjednika Nadzornog odbora trenutno obnaša gđa. Vesna Kolar, koja je na toj poziciji od 27. aprila 2006. godine.

Overall objective
Raising of competitiveness through development of clusters.

Specific objective
To analyse the metal processing industry in the Region of Central BiH, as the first phase of the metal industry cluster establishment.

Achieved results

Market research and analysis of metal-processing industry of the Region of Central BiH was completed.
The final results were presented on ZEPS International Fair – INTERMETAL in Zenica.

CBI BSOD Programme

Overall objective
To improve export capacities of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Specific objectives
Definition and affirmation of potential export products. Increasing of knowledge and competencies in export marketing and management. Organizational capacity building of all actors in export related fields.

Achieved results

Partnership Agreement 2008/2009 between REZ Agency and CBI Netherlands was signed.
New BSOD – Market Development Programme was designed.
Trainings for Local Export Consultants were organized and conducted.
22 Local Export Consultants (LEC) have been certified by Dutch Government Agency CBI – Centre for the Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries.
Co-ordination meeting with Local Export Consultants was organized and conducted.
Draft template of the Marketing plan for Local Export Consultants was designed.
Workshops for business groups, associations and other BSOs were organized and conducted.
Training titled “Export to EU” for export oriented companies was organized and conducted.
The Conference “Improvement of Export Potentials through Coordinated Dialog of Export Community” was organized and conducted.
Export capacities of local stakeholders have been improved.

Wood Excellence Centre – CNC Wood Processing

Overall objective
Enabling access to new technologies in the Region of Central BiH.

Specific objective
To educate staff of wood processing companies in using advanced CNC technology related to wood processing.

Achieved results

Since REZ Agency, in the co-operation with Zenica-Doboj Canton and University of Zenica, has established Wood Excellence Centre in Zenica, the education was proposed as one of the activities of the Centre. Training related to CNC wood processing technology was organized by REZ Agency in the co-operation with University of Zenica and delivered to the wood-processing companies from the Region of Central BiH.
The training program was constituted of 17 related topics with proposed duration of 60 hours.
19 attendants from 9 wood processing companies attended the training on CNC wood processing technology.
Upon the establishment of the Wood Excellence Centre and through its activities, competitiveness of wood processing companies has been improved.

Establishment of CISCO Networking Academy

Overall objective
To balance development related to the field of computer networking technologies throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Specific objectives
(1) To improve IT society in the Region of Central BiH. (2) To establish the CISCO Networking Academy in Zenica.

Achieved results

REZ Agency, in the co-operation with Zenica-Doboj Canton and University of Zenica, has established CISCO Networking Academy in Zenica.
The first generation of 64 students has commenced the studies in September 2007.
49 students from the 1st generation successfully completed education and awarded diploma and Cisco CCNA Certificate in May 2009.
Provided knowledge and skills required for designing, building and maintenance of small and medium computer networks.

Establishment of wood-processing industry cluster

Overall objective
Raising of competitiveness through development of clusters (CCA).
Specific objectives
Establishment of wood-processing industry cluster.

Achieved results

In the co-operation with USAID CCA, assistance to the groups of companies from wood-processing sector was provided. New strategy approach was applied.
The wood-processing cluster (BH Wood Cluster) was registered in the month of July 2008, raising the competitiveness of the cluster members.

Promotion of self-employment in agriculture through technical assistance and market linkages

Overall objective
Education of the beneficiaries on polythene greenhouse production.
Specific objectives
(1) Establishment of polythene greenhouse production and (2) introducing techniques of marketing for related products in the municipalities of Žepče, Zavidovići, Maglaj and Doboj Jug.

Achieved results

50 jobs created in self-employment modality.
The amount of 60.000 KM, as new income was generated.
120 beneficiaries trained in polythene greenhouse production.
Provided assistance of 4 agricultural associations for the services related to the greenhouse production.

Regional Development Fund

Overall objective
Improving the managerial capability of beneficiaries/partner organizations in achieving better fund absorption.

Specific objectives
Financial support to development projects implemented by Agricultural Associations, Agricultural cooperatives, Business Associations and Local Development agencies.

Achieved results

The fund supported 15 projects, out of which 9 were related to agricultural sector.
Improved the fund absorption ability through the region
Strengthened capacities of implementing organizations for the projects in the region of Central BiH.
